Exploring the Energy of the Court Cards in Tarot

Tarot cards serve as powerful symbols, offering insights into our lives, personalities, and futures. Among these, the court cards carry unique energy and significance. Unlike the major and minor arcana, court cards represent people, social dynamics, or aspects of our personalities. In this blog post, we will explore the energy of the court cards, focusing on their meanings and implications.

Understanding Court Cards

Court cards consist of page, knight, queen, and king archetypes in each of the four suits: cups, swords, wands, and pentacles. These cards often reflect real-life individuals or character traits prevalent in our lives.

  • Pages often symbolize youthfulness, curiosity, and the beginning of new opportunities.

  • Knights are associated with action, ambition, and movement.

  • Queens embody nurturing qualities and emotional intelligence.

  • Kings represent authority, control, and mastery over a subject.

Each court card embodies different aspects of personality and energy, making them versatile guides in a tarot reading.

I found this to be a well informed article, for total beginners the court cards can be really confusing as they are a bit like chameleons, the meaning can change depending of if its a person or situation or an aspect of self even if the energies remain the same.

I like them turning up in a tarot spread nowadays as they are easy to relate to once you learn the core meanings, now its like 'hello old friend' :)
